This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky, +5 more states.
β’ Maintain and refresh student compliance records within the Student Information System.
β’ Review, gather, authenticate, and handle necessary student residency documentation.
β’ Monitor student records for any missing, incomplete, or outdated documentation and procure the required information.
β’ Ensure that records are precise, up-to-date, and compliant with state, federal, and organizational regulations.
β’ Generate reports and track compliance metrics using the Student Information System along with other software tools.
β’ Communicate with families, school staff, and external agencies regarding documentation requirements and record discrepancies.
β’ Assist with audits, state reporting, and internal compliance evaluations.
β’ Maintain confidentiality of student information and records in accordance with FERPA and organizational policies.
β’ Support enrollment and records management processes.
β’ Identify and rectify data entry mistakes and record inconsistencies.
β’ Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
β’ No supervisory responsibilities.
β’ Preference for Ohio residents.
β’ Applicants from surrounding states within one hundred miles of the Ohio border may be considered; these border states include Michigan, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Kentucky, and Indiana.
β’ Must be capable of meeting travel requirements.
β’ Must be willing and able to obtain Ohio Certification.
β’ A High School Diploma or GED is required.
β’ A minimum of two (2) years of relevant administrative, records management, compliance, or data-entry experience is necessary.
β’ Experience in a school environment is preferred.
β’ Familiarity with PowerSchool Student Information System (SIS) is an advantage.
β’ Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
β’ Ability to manage multiple priorities and adhere to deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
β’ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
β’ Capacity to work independently and collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
β’ Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel; knowledge of Excel is preferred.
β’ Ability to analyze records for accuracy and completeness.
β’ Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
β’ Capability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information appropriately.
β’ Ability to learn and navigate various database systems and software applications.
β’ Skill in communicating effectively in person, over the phone, and through electronic communications.
β’ Ability to work independently, typically 40+ hours per week.
β’ Ability to maintain a professional home office free from distractions during work hours.
β’ Typically available during 9-5 (or 8-4) hours, or as defined by the school.
