Compliance Analyst, KYB Enhanced Due Diligence

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Singapore.

📋 Description

• Conduct Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) reviews for high-risk clients.

• Evaluate transaction activities of high-risk customers to ensure they align with the business's nature.

• Perform risk assessments on both new and existing clients.

• Lead initiatives aimed at enhancing EDD processes.

• Stay updated on global EDD standards, including FATF guidelines and local regulations in operational areas.

• Offer expertise in Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Counter Financing of Terrorism (CFT).

• Handle escalations related to high-risk customers from the first line of defense and other departments.

• Develop policies, programs, procedures, guidance documents, training materials, and impact assessment/analysis documentation.

• Provide training to fellow employees.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD).

• Possession of ACAMS, ACFCS, or another recognized industry certification.

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin is essential for coordination with international partners and stakeholders.

• Familiarity with global Customer Due Diligence (CDD) and EDD regulations.

• In-depth understanding of AML/CFT and sanctions-related risks.

• Knowledge of global licensing standards for financial services and cryptocurrency-related activities.

• Experience dealing with complex beneficial ownership structures.

• Strong communication, analytical, logical reasoning, problem-solving, and writing abilities.
