This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to the organization by mapping risks and integrating privacy and compliance-by-design strategies into new projects and initiatives.
• Recognize regulatory changes that could impact the continuity of strategic projects and oversee mitigation action plans.
• Validate and implement automated controls and technological solutions for Compliance processes, promoting the utilization of Artificial Intelligence and automation.
• Identify, evaluate, and monitor regulatory risks associated with the GB ecosystem, and recommend controls and action plans.
• Perform due diligence on national and international partners, assessing compliance and third-party risks.
• Conduct research and prepare advisory opinions on risks while providing guidance to business areas.
• Spot governance and business continuity opportunities in relation to Compliance.
• Identify risks and monitor transactions to fulfill AML/CFT regulatory obligations and conduct internal investigations.
• Assist in the governance of the Compliance Program, which includes metrics, training, communications, policies, and procedures.
• Create strategic and executive reports for senior management.
• Benchmark industry best practices and recommend enhancements to the team’s processes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in risk management, internal controls, or compliance.
• Familiarity with process mapping, Compliance, and risk assessment.
• Experience in monitoring the Brazilian regulatory landscape and AML/CFT requirements.
• Advanced knowledge of Google Workspace and proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Power BI) for automating routine tasks.
• Strong analytical, investigative, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Logical reasoning and resilience.
• Practical project management skills and comprehension of frameworks applicable to complex projects.
• Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to analyze intricate scenarios and pinpoint risks and opportunities.
• Focus on proposing solutions that minimize losses while generating business value.
• Organized and proactive, with clear and assertive verbal and written communication.
• Preferred: Extensive experience with the Brazilian regulatory landscape and third-party risk analysis.
• Preferred: Intermediate proficiency in English (speaking, reading, comprehension, and writing).
