Complex Case Specialist – Special Programs

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Engage in discussions, provide support, and/or market products and services tailored to specific settlement requirements with clients.

• Build strong relationships with external stakeholders and deliver concierge-level service on cases.

• Solicit new referrals.

• Influence the settlement process by leveraging value-added insights and in-depth knowledge of complex cases.

• Manage assigned high-value, intricate cases from the initial referral through to conversion.

• Regularly follow up via phone and/or email with settlement stakeholders regarding the status of cases.

• Collaborate monthly with Business Development Managers to address settlement objections and progress cases.

• Convert referrals into Members according to designated targets.

• Act as the primary point of contact for channel partners.

• Maintain a fundamental understanding of trusts and their advantages in individual cases.

• Participate in settlement mediations or roundtable discussions as needed.

• Stay informed about best practices and industry trends.

⛳️ Requirements

• An Associate’s Degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience demonstrated through a combination of work experience, training, military service, or education — Required.

• Over 3 years of experience in supporting sales initiatives and acting as a direct point of contact for clients.

• More than 3 years of experience within the trust industry and/or the workers’ compensation sector.

• Proven experience in articulating services and products to various parties at a mediation table.

• Strong analytical and multitasking abilities.

• Capacity for problem-solving and strategic thinking.

• Excellent selling and communication skills.

• Highly motivated and results-driven to convert cases.

• Knowledgeable about the settlement process in workers’ compensation and liability claims, including catastrophic injuries.

• Detail-oriented with a sharp focus on identifying opportunities and resolving complex issues.

• Ability to work independently or collaboratively as part of a team.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications.

• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without requiring employer sponsorship to begin employment.
