Compensation Specialist

πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Oversee local market trend data and collaborate with the manager to ensure compensation programs remain competitive and address the needs of local business units.

β€’ Manage direct compensation programs (both exempt and nonexempt cash compensation) which involves processing, recording, and reporting compensation-related activities.

β€’ Actively engage in the configuration and testing of Pay Factors and Workday advanced compensation, along with the continuous utilization and assessment of these tools.

β€’ Participate in and conduct salary surveys for both exempt and nonexempt roles to ensure corporate compensation goals are met.

β€’ Acquire knowledge of local regulations to make certain that compensation programs comply with corporate policies and governmental laws.

β€’ Assist in the implementation and upkeep of compensation initiatives that support business requirements, including competitive analysis, internal impact assessments, cost projections, implementation strategies, and communication with HR management.

β€’ Provide data analytics assistance to the Compensation Manager and HR Business Partners to audit and supply data intelligence for predicting trends and proactively addressing business demands.

β€’ Collaborate with the HRIS team on the design and execution of compensation programs, Workday configurations, reporting, and more.

β€’ Respond to inquiries from managers and employees regarding compensation programs.

β€’ Conduct job evaluations utilizing market pricing and deliver results in a clear format that fosters transparency and understanding.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in human resource management, business, finance, economics, or related fields is required.

β€’ At least 0-2 years of experience in human resources and/or compensation.

β€’ Specific experience with base salary structures, short-term and long-term incentive programs, competitive market analysis, trend forecasting, cost analysis, and outcome modeling is advantageous.

β€’ Exceptional problem-solving skills, including the ability to clearly define issues, gather data (both primary and secondary), establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and communicate findings effectively to stakeholders.

β€’ Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

β€’ Strong customer service orientation.

β€’ Capability to perform well under pressure.

β€’ Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and adapt to shifting priorities in a fast-paced setting.

β€’ Strong analytical abilities.

β€’ Proficiency in compensation modeling and graphing using Excel.
