Compensation Product Manager, Partner Experience

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Act as the primary compensation resource for Talent Acquisition, Finance, People Business Partners, HR Operations, and Talent Acquisition Operations, addressing offers, pricing inquiries, and specific business requirements directly.

• Each question you address represents a design requirement. Every friction point you identify contributes to the future product backlog.

• Your role is to eliminate these inquiries by creating efficient tools and infrastructure.

• Ensure data integrity, conduct data audits, and highlight gaps to guarantee that partners are working with accurate information.

• Take ownership of the compensation experience for internal partner teams by developing tools that enable independent operations.

• Gather and prioritize requests while utilizing pattern data to determine what should be standardized.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5–7 years of experience in compensation, preferably in a business-facing or partner-facing position within a high-growth or public technology company.

• A sincere product mindset demonstrated through tangible examples: something you identified, developed, and assessed that transformed how people worked, beyond simply improving a process.

• Sufficient compensation expertise to establish credibility with HR Business Partners and Talent Acquisition from day one: including offers, benchmarking, off-cycle requests, and the complete range of inquiries partners present regarding compensation.

• Proficient user of AI tools: you can reference workflows you have built or enhanced, not just theories you've encountered.

• Comfortable with data audits and compensation analysis: capable of identifying inaccuracies, validating data integrity, and recognizing patterns that inform necessary developments.

• Strong financial understanding, adept at creating models, interpreting budget data, and collaborating with Finance.

• Advanced skills in Excel or Google Sheets; data is your first language.

• Experience with Workday, including approval workflow configuration.

• Formal experience in product management is advantageous but not essential.
