Compensation Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +12 more states.

📋 Description

• Deliver compensation recommendations based on internal equity, external market competitiveness, and ERMCO salary scales.

• Perform daily compensation evaluations, including promotions, market adjustments, lateral moves, and recommendations for new hires.

• Aid in the upkeep of salary structures through the annual compensation review.

• Assist in the annual compensation processes for the US, Canada, and Mexico.

• Ensure that compensation programs and practices adhere to relevant regulations.

• Maintain documentation, guidelines, and procedures related to compensation.

• Track compensation trends and industry practices, proposing enhancements as necessary.

• Facilitate compensation-related communications by developing content, presentations, and supporting materials.

• Work in tandem with the communications team to effectively convey compensation messaging.

• Support participation in compensation surveys and manage relationships with survey vendors.

• Review jobs within the system to guarantee that compensation criteria are up-to-date and accurate.

• Address ad hoc analytics requests.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field is required.

• At least 3 years of experience in compensation is required.

• Comprehensive understanding of compensation practices, trends, and regulatory mandates.

• Experience collaborating with major survey vendors.

• Proficient in conducting salary surveys.

• Experienced in performing ad hoc analyses.

• Skilled in creating salary structures.

• Capable of supporting the management of the compensation cycle.

• Proficient in developing communication plans, auditing workbooks, responding to leaders, crafting and delivering communication statements, and integrating statements into HRIS.

• Advanced Excel skills are essential.

• Strong analytical, mathematical, and data visualization abilities, including familiarity with Power BI or Tableau.

• Detail-oriented and accurate when dealing with sensitive financial information.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and projects.

• High degree of professionalism and capability to work across all organizational levels.

• A strong sense of integrity and confidentiality when handling sensitive data.

• A Master’s degree or relevant certifications are preferred.
