This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.
• Deliver vital services to elderly individuals in their residences located in Grafton.
• Administer wound, stoma, and bowel care.
• Provide catheter management, including IDC for both males and females and SPC.
• Utilize advanced clinical assessment abilities for the management of chronic diseases.
• Dispense medications and perform injections.
• Maintain a high standard of nursing care for clients.
• Employ clinical assessment, decision-making, and problem-solving skills to ensure quality care.
• Operate independently within the community while benefiting from team support.
• A degree or postgraduate qualification in nursing.
• At least 2 years of post-graduate experience with a diverse background in general nursing.
• Current registration with AHPRA, with no notations.
• A sincere interest in community work and engagement with the elderly population.
• Strong expertise in wound care, catheter management, and chronic disease oversight.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the capacity to communicate effectively with families and other healthcare professionals.
• Valid Australian driver's license.
• National Police check required before starting.
• Work Rights verification needed prior to commencement.
• Confirmation of COVID-19 vaccination status prior to starting.
• Completion of a functional fitness assessment before commencing work.
