This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.
• Take ownership of and implement specific Community programs from start to finish, ensuring that members experience a consistent and high-quality journey from launch to ongoing involvement.
• Manage logistics, communications, participation, follow-up, and reporting for the programs you oversee.
• Evaluate program performance and suggest enhancements based on member feedback and participation patterns.
• Initiate and guide new MDS Squads through their initial 3-6 meetings, establishing the framework and momentum necessary for long-term success.
• Assist Squad members, resolve challenges, and pinpoint opportunities to enhance participation and accountability.
• Cultivate future Squad moderators who can independently maintain group momentum.
• Foster relationships with members and connect them with relevant programs, events, introductions, and opportunities within MDS.
• Implement targeted outreach and follow-up campaigns to boost participation, support engagement initiatives, and help members derive greater value from their membership.
• Identify members who may require additional support and escalate significant opportunities or concerns to the Community Manager.
• Collect member feedback and share relevant insights, trends, and opportunities with the Community team.
• Monitor engagement outcomes and keep precise records of outreach, program participation, and member interactions.
• Collaborate with Community and Operations teams to enhance workflows, member experiences, and engagement initiatives over time.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities, with the skill to quickly build authentic trust across diverse personalities, from introverted team members to dynamic founders, without coming across as scripted or corporate.
• Naturally proactive and self-motivated, with a demonstrated ability to recognize what requires attention and take action without waiting for guidance. You manage your own outreach schedule, track your own interactions, and consistently follow through.
• Comfortable facilitating group dynamics and leading discussions in a manner that fosters genuine structure and accountability without being overly formal or transactional.
• Strong intuition regarding people and community health, including the ability to detect early signs of disengagement, conflict, or group dysfunction and respond appropriately.
• Organized and detail-oriented enough to juggle multiple member relationships and Squad groups at once without losing sight of individual needs and timelines.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and genuine ease in engaging with founders and operators as equals, rather than as a service provider. You can hold your own in conversations with accomplished, successful individuals.
• **Valid US Visa required.** This position involves occasional travel to US-based MDS events and gatherings. Candidates must possess a valid US Visa at the time of offer.
• Experience in communities, masterminds, coaching groups, founder ecosystems, startups, or similar settings where you were responsible for engagement, relationships, or program execution.
• Global Work Flexibility: Our ‘office’ is wherever you choose—work from home, a café, or while traveling, as long as you align with Eastern Time during core hours.
• Outcome-Driven Work Culture: We emphasize results over strict schedules. Manage your day your way, concentrating on outcomes rather than hours.
• Autonomous Time Management: We trust you to balance work and personal life. We do not monitor time off; we observe company-wide breaks during major holidays and have a monthly Friday off.
• Unique Access to World-Class Founders: You will cultivate authentic relationships with some of the most successful e-commerce entrepreneurs globally as a natural and daily aspect of your work.
• Exclusive Event Access: Attend and represent MDS at exclusive, high-profile events—gateways to new relationships and a global professional network.
• Dynamic Community of Innovators: Work within a world-class e-commerce community and be surrounded by motivated, like-minded professionals who encourage each other to grow.
• Continuous Professional Development: Enhance your community management, facilitation, and retention skills within a rapidly evolving organization that sets the benchmark for high-quality founder communities.
• Impactful Work: The relationships you cultivate and the outreach you conduct directly influence whether MDS members perceive the community as valuable—and whether they continue to engage. That’s a significant responsibility.
