This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee a team of employees while fostering a culture of high performance.
• Ensure sufficient staff coverage for the designated program area.
• Act as a subject matter expert in a specific area of program knowledge.
• Guarantee that the assigned team fulfills contract and individual SLAs along with related requirements.
• Collaborate with contract management and shared services to pinpoint opportunities for improvement and efficiency.
• Participate in client and stakeholder meetings as necessary.
• Lead or assist in the assessment, planning, implementation, and ongoing enhancement of community-based and peer-mentoring programs.
• Organize and manage peer-support networks, which includes recruiting, training, and coordinating peer counselors in accordance with USSOCOM CPPNC standards.
• Gather, analyze, document, and report qualitative and quantitative data for formative and outcome evaluations.
• Identify program and service deficiencies and create targeted initiatives based on demographic, geographic, and mission-related needs.
• Connect SOF personnel and their families with Department of Defense resources and crisis-support services.
• Review and propose policies, procedures, and processes to enhance program alignment and effectiveness.
• Collaborate with military Services, the Department of Defense, government agencies, and civilian organizations.
• Advocate for help-seeking behavior, resilience, suicide prevention, and the reduction of stigma.
• Prepare briefings, reports, and recommendations for government and program leadership.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Bachelor's degree or a combination of education, technical training, or relevant experience equivalent to a degree.
• At least two years of related experience.
• Bachelor's degree in education, human services, social work, public health, psychology, or a related field.
• Experience in supporting program development, peer-support services, prevention initiatives, crisis intervention, community outreach, or social-service planning.
• Background in collecting, analyzing, and reporting program data and outcomes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, facilitation, organizational, and stakeholder-engagement skills.
• Capability to work both independently and collaboratively with military, government, and civilian partners.
• Proficiency in standard Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to meet contract and government requirements relevant to the role.
• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Active U.S. Government Secret security clearance or eligibility to obtain and maintain one.
• Must currently and permanently reside within the Continental U.S.
• Internet speed of 25mbps or higher, or 50 Mbps for shared internet connectivity.
• Minimum upload speed of 5 Mbps.
• Category 5 or 6 Ethernet patch cable connection to the home router is required.
• A private and secure work area along with a reliable power source is necessary.
• A smartphone is required for Maximus systems.
