This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.
• Act as the interim Community Manager for designated communities during staffing shortages, transitions, and other crucial business circumstances.
• Collaborate with Regional Managers and onsite teams to enhance occupancy rates, leasing performance, resident retention, customer service ratings, and overall property success.
• Evaluate community performance indicators and execute strategic action plans to stimulate leasing activities, boost revenue, and improve operational efficiency.
• Provide direct coaching, mentoring, and training to community teams.
• Assist communities experiencing operational difficulties, staffing issues, or performance challenges by assessing requirements and implementing enhancement strategies.
• Lead the onboarding process and assimilation for newly acquired communities, ensuring the adoption of company processes, systems, culture, and service standards.
• Supervise financial performance, encompassing budgeting, forecasting, expense management, and profitability initiatives.
• Work alongside Operations, Service, and Regional leadership on property audits, compliance efforts, and corrective action strategies.
• Function as a subject matter expert in community operations, leasing excellence, financial stewardship, and team development.
• Cultivate relationships throughout AIR's portfolio while serving as a culture ambassador and reliable operational partner.
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 75% of the time, including extended assignments within AIR's portfolio.
• Proximity to a major airport.
• At least 5 years of experience in multifamily property management.
• A minimum of 2 years' experience as a Community Manager responsible for daily property operations.
• Proven track record of enhancing occupancy, leasing performance, resident satisfaction, and operational outcomes.
• Experience managing large, complex, or high-traffic communities is preferred.
• Demonstrated capability to lead through transitions, stabilize operations, and achieve results in difficult situations.
• Exceptional coaching, team-building, and leadership abilities with the skill to influence and develop teams across multiple locations.
• Experience with multi-site supervision or regional support is strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication, customer service, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to swiftly adapt to new markets, teams, and business environments while upholding a high standard of performance and professionalism.
