Community Manager, French Speaking

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Acquire a comprehensive understanding of the market to pinpoint user and local moderator challenges and opportunities.

• Refine, innovate, and expand the consumer growth strategy.

• Identify opportunities, propose bold ideas and initiatives, and persuade internal teams to align with the proposed plans.

• Develop strategic plans to nurture, recruit, educate, and expand local moderator communities.

• Establish a conversion funnel to onboard power users and external creators as active moderators.

• Convey quantitative and qualitative insights to enhance the international consumer growth strategy.

• Evaluate data, set KPIs, and implement impactful community initiatives.

• Leverage data to reveal community and moderator insights that influence the direction of the local team.

• Collaborate across functions with Product, Community, Engineering, Marketing, Safety, and Business Development teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Contract engagement available for candidates located in the UK or Ireland.

• Over 5 years of experience in community development, project management, growth, operations, or product consulting.

• Proven track record of community-led projects that have positively impacted business outcomes.

• Extensive knowledge and understanding of French culture, including current events, politics, customs, traditions, language, areas of interest, and taboos.

• In-depth understanding of France’s digital landscape and internet culture.

• Proven ability to work effectively with internal teams, local users, moderators, partners, content creators, and influencers.

• Exceptional execution skills and meticulous attention to detail.

• Strong interest in developing and advancing projects, framing issues, seeking solutions, testing hypotheses, and refining processes.

• Proficient in both French and English.
