Community Manager, Dutch Speaking

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands.

📋 Description

• Acquire a comprehensive understanding of the Dutch market to pinpoint user and local moderator challenges as well as market opportunities.

• Continuously refine, innovate, and expand Reddit’s consumer growth strategy.

• Identify new opportunities and propose bold ideas and initiatives.

• Convince internal teams to come together on new plans.

• Develop strategic plans to nurture, recruit, educate, and expand a local moderator community.

• Establish a conversion funnel to onboard power users and external creators as engaged moderators.

• Convey quantitative and qualitative insights to enhance the international consumer growth strategy.

• Examine quantitative and qualitative data, establish KPIs, and carry out impactful community initiatives.

• Utilize data to reveal community and moderator insights that influence the local market team.

• Collaborate across functions with Product, Community, Engineering, Marketing, Safety, and Business Development teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in community development, project management, growth, operations, or product consulting.

• Proven track record of community-driven projects that have made a significant business impact.

• Extensive knowledge and understanding of Dutch culture, including current events, politics, customs, traditions, language, areas of interest, and taboos.

• In-depth understanding of the Dutch digital landscape and internet culture.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, local users, moderators, partners, content creators, and influencers.

• Strong execution capabilities and meticulous attention to detail.

• Interest and skill in developing and leading projects, framing issues, seeking solutions, testing hypotheses, and iterating on process enhancements.

• Fluency in both Dutch and English.

• Candidates must reside in the Netherlands.
