This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
β’ Organize and facilitate gatherings. Conceptualize and implement meetings, workshops, and activation points β whether in local markets or within national partner networks β managing everything from logistics to facilitation and follow-up.
β’ Establish a rhythm. Create a schedule of engagements that maintains community activity and connection without causing burnout.
β’ Oversee logistics. Cultivate relationships with venues, vendors, and logistics partners to ensure each gathering runs seamlessly, leaving leaders with memorable experiences.
β’ Document outcomes. Capture stories, connections, and insights from each event and relay them back to the team and the platform.
β’ Manage online community circles. Set up and organize virtual spaces, moderate discussions, and foster member engagement.
β’ Foster leader-to-leader connections. Facilitate introductions, identify common interests, and build peer relationships that endure beyond individual events.
β’ Assist with leader onboarding. Support new leaders in integrating into the BTP community, ensuring they are aware of others in the network and potential collaborative opportunities.
β’ Monitor community engagement. Track attendance, identify who is bringing in new members, and recognize those ready to take on more significant roles within the network.
β’ Recognize emerging leaders. Identify community members prepared to take on more active roles and connect them with opportunities within BTP.
β’ Collaborate closely with your Sr. EM. Act as the execution layer for the activation strategy β whether coordinating with Radius leads in local markets or collaborating with organizational counterparts in national partner networks.
β’ Support implementing partners. Assist local or organizational partners in conducting their own activations within the BTP framework, easing their participation burden.
β’ Act as the connective tissue. Serve as the link between the Sr. EM, Radius teams or partner organizations, and the leaders in each market or network.
β’ Coordinate across tracks. Work with the other Community Manager to identify opportunities where regional and organizational leader communities can intersect.
β’ Proven experience in planning and executing events or gatherings for community, civic, or professional audiences β you know how to facilitate engagement across diverse contexts and scales.
β’ Strong relationship-building skills β you are the kind of individual people are genuinely pleased to see, and the connections you establish extend beyond the events you manage.
β’ Cross-cultural fluency β genuine comfort and curiosity about diverse communities and cultural contexts.
β’ Ability to manage multiple markets, timelines, and logistical streams simultaneously while maintaining focus on underlying relationships.
