This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Collaborate with your Community Manager to analyze your market and prioritize impactful messaging.
• Assist in planning and executing events such as memorable parties, local gatherings, and happy hours.
• Acquire hands-on experience in digital and social media marketing by creating and organizing content that aligns with regional objectives for channel growth and enhanced engagement.
• Aid in maintaining Yelp’s local online business listings through our app and website by flagging photos, identifying media alerts and scams, and ensuring the accuracy of business details.
• Contribute to online community building by engaging with Yelpers through the app/website in various ways.
• You should be a current college student, a recent graduate, or looking to transition into a community building role.
• Residency in Cincinnati, OH with reliable transportation is essential (Required).
• You must be at least 21 years of age (Required).
• Consider yourself a local expert with knowledge of trending topics in the area and a passion for small businesses.
• Demonstrated experience and interest in planning and coordinating events is required.
• Possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Exhibit excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with social media copywriting and asset coordination is preferred.
• Be a creative problem solver with a good understanding of Yelp’s applications.
• Availability to work 10-19 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with potential weekend shifts.
• Capability to lift 10 pounds without assistance.
