This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama.
• Facilitate collaboration among community leaders at local and state levels to evaluate, connect, and enhance support services.
• Cultivate strong relationships utilizing the Her Community model to reinforce the pro-life safety net.
• Generate opportunities for cooperation among assistance providers across all seven categories to optimize their capacity to support pregnant and parenting women while identifying community gaps in the pro-life safety net.
• Assist communities in determining the most effective pathways for their needs.
• Implement established strategies, foster community relationships, and carry out engagement efforts in the role of Coordinator.
• Spearhead state or regional strategies, broaden the Her Community model, and aid in organizational development and training as a Director.
• Inform community members and leaders about the profile of the abortion-vulnerable woman and the challenges she encounters.
• Strengthen the pro-life safety net by collaborating with community organizations to address resource gaps.
• Create a strategic plan for long-term community engagement.
• Organize and manage significant events for assistance providers and/or community organizations, members, and leaders.
• Prior experience in relevant state policy, public health, or non-profit sectors.
• High level of professionalism and confidentiality.
• Proficient facilitator and communicator, comfortable leading meetings, training sessions, collaborative initiatives, and presenting to large audiences.
• Strategic and creative problem solver capable of developing innovative ideas, frameworks, and scalable strategies tailored to diverse state environments.
• Excellent organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines, and manage scheduling effectively.
• Must be pro-life.
• Willingness to communicate in front of large audiences is essential.
• Proficiency in various technology platforms is required.
• Must possess a teachable attitude and a strong desire to learn.
• Outcome-driven mindset is crucial.
• Proven track record in community development with measurable impact (e.g., partnerships, engagement, expansion) for the Director level.
• Previous experience as a coordinator or in a similar leadership position (typically 3–5+ years of progressive experience) for the Director level.
• Demonstrated capacity to lead without direct authority and influence stakeholders effectively for the Director level.
• Experience in mentoring, training, and developing others for the Director level.
• Ability to work independently and drive strategy across regions for the Director level.
