This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Serve as the main liaison for HOA board members and homeowners.
• Interpret and uphold community rules, regulations, and bylaws consistently and fairly.
• Assist in crafting and amending community policies and guidelines.
• Schedule and lead regular board meetings, keeping accurate records of minutes and decisions.
• Develop and manage the annual budget, including revenue collection, expense monitoring, and financial reporting.
• Oversee financial statements and reports to ensure transparency and accuracy.
• Monitor delinquencies and collaborate with homeowners to resolve outstanding dues.
• Assess vendor contracts and negotiate favorable service terms.
• Solicit bids and manage contracts for maintenance, landscaping, and other services.
• Supervise and coordinate contractors to guarantee quality and timely work.
• Conduct regular property inspections to identify maintenance and repair needs.
• Maintain open and effective communication with homeowners, board members, and committees.
• Organize and facilitate community events, meetings, and workshops.
• Leverage digital platforms and tools to enhance communication and engagement within the community.
• Stay current with HOA laws and regulations at the local, state, and federal levels.
• Ensure the HOA adheres to all legal requirements and obligations.
• Mediate disputes and conflicts among homeowners or between homeowners and the board.
• Strive to find amicable solutions to community issues.
• Develop and implement emergency response plans for the community.
• Coordinate with relevant authorities and services during emergencies.
• Maintain organized and secure records of HOA documents, contracts, and correspondence.
• Provide access to records for authorized individuals as necessary.
• Experience in condo association or HOA management.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to obtain a CAM license in the state of Illinois (support will be provided).
• Proficient in computer and tech skills: E-mail, Google Workspace (cloud), Word, Excel, etc.
