Communications/Social Media Director

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.

📋 Description

• Formulate and implement communication strategies across the company to bolster marketing, public relations, and business development objectives.

• Supervise and manage all social media platforms, producing engaging, high-quality content that resonates with brand goals.

• Evaluate and analyze social media and communication initiatives to gauge effectiveness, uncover trends, and enhance engagement tactics.

• Partner with internal teams to synchronize messaging and maintain brand uniformity across all communication channels.

• Draft press releases, statements, and other public-facing materials as necessary to represent the organization in a professional and accurate manner.

• Cultivate relationships with stakeholders, partners, and media outlets to boost brand visibility and reputation.

• Steer crisis communication initiatives, ensuring prompt, clear, and strategic responses to potential challenges.

• Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices in social media management and communications to sustain a competitive advantage.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related discipline.

• Demonstrated experience (5+ years) in communications, social media management, or a comparable leadership position.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities in English, with a keen eye for detail and creative storytelling skills.

• Proven proficiency in social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X/Twitter, TikTok) and tools for audience engagement and analytics.
