This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as the main communications and marketing liaison for the Programs and Research & Evaluation teams.
• Design and implement integrated marketing and communications campaigns across various digital platforms.
• Generate written, visual, and digital content that highlights program, research, and organizational outcomes.
• Convert research results and technical data into engaging communications tailored for the target audience.
• Create marketing materials that align with brand standards using tools for presentation and graphic design.
• Write, edit, and enhance messaging based on campaign outcomes and audience interaction.
• Evaluate campaign metrics and propose enhancements through testing, optimization, and data-informed decision-making.
• Assess and assist with Salesforce-integrated marketing technologies, focusing on email deliverability and data flow.
• Regularly update website content using WordPress or a similar content management system.
• Manage marketing projects through project management tools, ensuring deadlines are adhered to.
• Identify opportunities in communications, suggest best practices, and lead projects from concept to execution.
• Work in collaboration with cross-functional teams to guarantee consistent messaging and effective campaign execution.
• Travel about 10% of the time annually, typically for 2–3 organizational events.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related discipline.
• At least 3–5 years of professional experience in communications and marketing.
• A portfolio or work samples showcasing strong capabilities in writing, marketing, and content development.
• Outstanding writing, editing, storytelling, and content creation abilities across various communication channels.
• Experience in producing brand-compliant marketing materials with tools like Canva, PowerPoint, or similar design software.
• Familiarity with Salesforce-integrated marketing platforms such as Account Engagement (Pardot), Feathr, Mailchimp, or similar marketing automation tools.
• Experience in managing and updating websites through WordPress or comparable content management systems.
• Knowledge of project management platforms such as Asana, Monday.com, or other collaborative tools.
• Understanding of audience segmentation, A/B testing, campaign measurement, optimization, and performance analytics.
• Proficient in Microsoft 365.
• Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills, with the capacity to handle multiple priorities.
• Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating across teams.
• A passion for enhancing child health, education, equity, and community impact.
• Preferred: experience in nonprofit, education, public health, or child-health sectors.
• Preferred: experience in supporting mission-driven organizations through strategic communications and marketing efforts.
• Knowledge of digital fundraising or nonprofit engagement strategies is advantageous.
