Communications Specialist II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Create, write, edit, and proofread content for websites, publications, and communication materials for members.

• Implement brand standards, accessibility guidelines, and readability criteria across all communications.

• Oversee the development and distribution of email communications, managing lists and providing reports.

• Assist in the design and production of both print and digital materials, such as brochures, newsletters, and reports.

• Regularly maintain and update website content in collaboration with internal teams and external partners.

• Ensure that all communications are consistent with the organization’s branding guidelines and messaging standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or GED with six (6) years of experience in communications, public relations, marketing, website design or maintenance, or social marketing; OR an Associate's degree with four (4) years of relevant experience; OR a Bachelor's degree with two (2) years of experience in these fields; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• A valid driver's license is required.

• Candidates must reside in North Carolina.

• Ability to travel within the catchment area as necessary.

• All applicants are required to pass a drug test as a condition of employment.
