Communications Specialist – 1 Year Contract

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Assist in the implementation of internal communication strategies that align with organizational priorities and initiatives.

• Create, revise, and disseminate clear and engaging internal communications such as emails, intranet content, presentations, and FAQs.

• Oversee timelines, deliverables, and approvals to ensure effective execution of communication projects.

• Manage low-complexity communication initiatives while contributing to larger, cross-departmental projects.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify communication requirements and deliver targeted, impactful messaging.

• Administer and curate content across various communication platforms (e.g., intranet, SharePoint, newsletters), ensuring consistency in tone, branding, and accessibility.

• Evaluate communication metrics and feedback to pinpoint areas for enhancement and boost engagement.

• Foster continuous improvement by sharing insights, utilizing best practices, and refining communication strategies.

• Proven experience in Communications or a related discipline.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a keen attention to detail.

• Proficient in producing content for diverse channels and formats.

• Strong organizational and project management abilities, capable of juggling multiple priorities.

• Experience in dynamic, collaborative work environments.

• Knowledge of communication metrics and reporting is advantageous.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel), SharePoint, and internal communication tools.
