This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia.
• Oversee and enhance the Institute’s visibility across social media channels, ensuring a consistent tone and engaging interaction (X, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube).
• Aid in the formulation and execution of communication strategies that further the Institute’s objectives and main initiatives.
• Compose, edit, and polish written materials, including newsletters, website updates, and research summaries.
• Plan and produce multimedia content (graphics, video clips) to support projects and attract new audiences.
• Monitor communication performance and metrics; provide insights for continuous improvement.
• Keep systematic documentation of communication resources.
• Collaborate with team members and contractors to ensure a unified voice and visual design across all products.
• 0-3+ years of relevant experience.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities with a keen eye for detail.
• Capability to convert complex research and policy information into clear and engaging messages.
• Proven organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities effectively.
• A strong interest in state policy with a focus on free market principles.
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related discipline.
• Experience in a policy, research, nonprofit, or think tank environment.
• Familiarity with Google Workspace, WordPress, MailChimp, Social Media Platforms, and Canva.
• Understanding of current affairs and policy issues related to human flourishing (economics, psychology, and culture).
