Communications and Marketing Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Develop communication materials that captivate stakeholder audiences, including case studies, infographics, promotional content, and briefing presentations.

• Edit and produce content that ensures consistent messaging across suitable channels, aligned with branding, messaging, and digital/social media strategies (such as news and impact stories, brochures, fact sheets, talking points, presentations, and website content).

• Promote capabilities to current and prospective users while assisting in the creation, management, and execution of the product marketing strategy.

• Aid in the annual Product Marketing Strategy deliverable.

• Facilitate change management by assisting in the development and maintenance of a change management process, assessing communication methods for opportunities to improve processes, and identifying and addressing risks linked to proposed changes.

• Offer communication and marketing insights for the Analysis of Alternatives report upon request from the Government.

• Engage in meetings to discuss and prioritize upcoming communication activities and strategies.

• Contribute to the Communications Plan and track metrics on the Communications Dashboard.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 7 years of experience in strategic communications and product marketing.

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, or a related discipline.

• Experience with federal clients is highly preferred.

• Knowledge of change management frameworks (e.g., Prosci/ADKAR).

• Proven experience in change management.

• Background in supporting complex projects and transformation initiatives within the federal government.

• Ability to obtain and maintain a DHS/public trust determination.

• Legal eligibility to work in the U.S.
