This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa.
• Oversee and expand sales within a designated territory.
• Act as the main representative and knowledge expert for PPG Commercial Coatings.
• Identify, qualify, and convert new leads for both direct and distribution sales channels.
• Build and sustain a strong commercial sales distribution network.
• Conduct opportunity cadence calls and joint customer visits alongside distributor representatives.
• Provide presentations and training sessions to distributors and end users regarding PPG products.
• Analyze and comprehend the competitive landscape to develop effective sales strategies.
• Dedicate yourself to ongoing learning and complete all required training punctually.
• Travel as needed, up to 50% overnight, to facilitate sales activities and distributor engagement.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Chemistry, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in commercial coatings sales, automotive refinish, or a similar industrial market.
• Proven experience in sales development and negotiation, with the ability to engage effectively with prospects, customers, and distributor partners.
• Practical technical skills related to substrate preparation, painting processes, and application.
• Valid driver’s license and a willingness to travel.
