This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wisconsin.
• Establish a customer base by showcasing products, services, and technical solutions.
• Efficiently oversee a designated territory and maximize business opportunities.
• Generate new customer business through networking, referrals, and proactive cold calling.
• Present sales pitches and product demonstrations to contractors and direct clients.
• Input all customer opportunities into SalesForce, actively managing and updating opportunity statuses.
• Gather all customer requirements to prepare Requests for Proposals, including drawings, specifications, and contract terms.
• Facilitate communication between the AGI Quote Team and the customer to ensure precise cost estimation.
• Collaborate with internal departments and divisions to address issues and devise solutions for customer accounts.
• Partner with management to identify and enhance sales opportunities.
• Formulate strategies and provide insights to maintain our competitive edge in the market.
• Collect and disseminate competitive intelligence to relevant internal departments.
• Implement sales strategies within the assigned territory to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
• Aid in customer retention by staying informed about competitive scenarios and engaging with clients.
• Cultivate relationships with key customer decision-makers and deliver exceptional customer service.
• Ensure sales and retention objectives for all products are achieved.
• Identify and manage distribution channels as necessary.
• Collaborate with other departments when addressing customer concerns and complaints.
• Assist in developing the sales budget and ensure compliance with budgetary figures.
• Complete and maintain sales reports, forecasts, and customer information.
• Support regional, national, and trade shows.
• A high school diploma plus two years of post-secondary education or equivalent is required; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Two to four years of experience in outside sales or customer service is required.
• Experience in the Grain Handling industry and technical knowledge of grain storage and handling is preferred.
• Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
• Must possess the ability to travel as necessary to fulfill essential duties and responsibilities.
• A valid state Driver’s License is required.
