This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana, +1 more state.
• Proactively promote Fluke products to meet sales targets by building relationships, offering training and support, and conducting end-user visits.
• Establish yourself as a local expert in Fluke products and solutions.
• Comprehend industrial applications and processes.
• Work with other sales and marketing team members to craft responses to proposals, deliver product demonstrations and training, and respond to end-user customer requirements.
• Utilize company resources effectively, including the customer relationship management system (Dynamics CRM), data analytics (Power BI), and other tools from the Microsoft Suite.
• Partner with local distribution channels to enhance growth at the end-user level.
• Capable of working remotely from a home office and traveling to end-user locations within the territory (approximately 50% overnight travel, depending on location).
• Conduct remote meetings and utilize technology to connect with customers and colleagues.
• Proficient in using LinkedIn to identify new prospects.
• Foster enduring relationships with local distributors and end users to offer solutions utilizing a range of Fluke equipment, software, and services.
• Provide support for various distributor and customer events including trade shows, seminars, and onsite training, among others.
• Leverage internal Fluke support teams to effectively expand your territory.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business preferred, or a 4-year equivalent technical degree.
• 5-7 years of experience in a related sales position; technical sales experience is a plus.
• Strong communication skills with customers.
• Ability to work independently to achieve objectives in a fast-paced, multidimensional environment requiring time management, creativity, and independent judgment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Teams, and a CRM platform.
• Must reside within the Louisiana, Southern Mississippi territory, preferably in the Baton Rouge, LA area.
• Must be able to lift 30 pounds on a daily basis.
