• Oversee and expand direct and distributor sales within a designated territory.
• Act as the primary representative and technical expert for PPG Commercial Coatings.
• Identify and convert new leads; establish a distribution network.
• Provide training and support to distributors to enhance their performance.
• Collaborate on sales strategies and conduct joint customer visits.
• Leverage CRM tools and deliver product training and presentations.
• Create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and monitor competitors.
• Manage expenses while ensuring ethical and customer-centered sales practices.
• Handle various sales opportunities and mentor partners.
• Communicate effectively across all levels of the customer hierarchy.
• Bachelor’s degree in business marketing or a technical field, or equivalent sales experience.
• Over 2 years of prior experience in commercial territory management.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and familiarity with CRM databases.
• Experience in paint or coatings is essential; automotive coatings experience is a plus.
• Willingness to engage in continuous learning and travel up to 50%; PPG provides mileage reimbursement for travel within the assigned territory!
