Commercial Solutions Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Serve as a trusted technical advisor to customers and prospects within the commercial sector.

• Design and architect observability solutions utilizing OpenTelemetry, Kubernetes, and cloud-native technologies.

• Convert customer needs into scalable, high-performing, and maintainable Dash0 implementations.

• Develop and carry out Proofs of Concept that showcase Dash0's technical capabilities.

• Present technical demonstrations and presentations aimed at engineering and executive audiences.

• Collaborate with Account Executives throughout various stages of the sales cycle.

• Offer architectural guidance and best practices for observability setup, telemetry data modeling, and OpenTelemetry collector design.

• Create and sustain reusable demo environments, reference architectures, and POC templates.

• Work with Product Management to provide technical insights that influence the roadmap and prioritize features.

• Operate across both Pre-Sales and Post-Sales as a Solutions Architect.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive technical expertise in Kubernetes, OpenTelemetry, observability pipelines, and distributed tracing.

• Practical experience with instrumentation, telemetry data ingestion, and performance optimization.

• Strong grasp of contemporary DevOps, SRE, and platform engineering practices.

• Capability to articulate complex observability concepts to engineers and decision-makers.

• Skill in creating and executing technical demos, architectures, and POCs that demonstrate business value.

• Ability to collaborate effectively across Sales, Product, and Engineering teams.

• Proficiency in English.

• C1-level fluency in German, Dutch, or a Nordic language is presented as an optional application question, not a stated job requirement.

• Familiarity with CRM tools like HubSpot, contributions to technical content, CNCF awareness, and experience in startups are considered advantageous.
