• Market the complete range of Carrier HVAC Service products and solutions, including service agreements, repairs, and modernizations.
• Develop and uphold Sales Territory and Account plans as necessary.
• Deliver presentations at customer seminars to foster new and existing customer relationships and opportunities.
• Advocate for Carrier's value proposition by aligning customer objectives with Carrier solutions.
• Leverage CRM tools to oversee customer interactions, activities, and the opportunity pipeline.
• Proven track record in acquiring new customers while enhancing value for current clients.
• Skilled in identifying and pursuing new service agreement opportunities with both existing and prospective customers.
• Capable of discovering or responding to repair opportunities.
• Build credibility through in-depth knowledge of Carrier products and solutions.
• Strong aptitude for developing and maintaining customer relationships.
• Effectively communicate the value of Carrier’s offerings and how they align with customer needs.
• Recognize the customer’s buying stage and adapt the sales approach accordingly.
• Excellent presentation and communication abilities.
• Prioritize the most promising opportunities.
• Respond to customer requirements promptly.
• Secure bookings/orders in a timely manner.
• Consistently meet sales metrics and annual targets.
• Negotiate service agreement renewals effectively when necessary.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in HVAC Service and Commercial Sales.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Must be capable of lifting and carrying 20 pounds, climbing ladders and stairs, and working comfortably on roofs or platforms.
• Must be able to pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check.
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Highly proficient in operating in a technical environment using Microsoft-based software.
• Exceptional sales and negotiation skills, with a strong focus on goals and effective time management and organizational abilities.
• Proven strong written, verbal, and presentation skills to effectively establish expectations and relationships with both internal and external customers.
• Ability to sell directly to end-user customers.
• Prior experience in selling service agreements is required.
