Commercial SBA Loan Closer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Process loan applications to fulfill all necessary criteria promptly.

• Prepare documentation for commercial and SBA loans, including renewals, modifications, subordinations, amendments, and waivers/exceptions.

• Coordinate and communicate with borrowers, title companies, and/or attorneys to arrange closings, prepare documents, and review instructions as required.

• Ensure all loan documents are complete, accurate, and appropriately filed by verifying signatures, execution, dates, collateral, and all other supporting documents.

• Review, gather, and/or prepare necessary documentation such as borrower equity injection, debt refinance support, leases, business valuations, and franchise eligibility for SBA loans.

• Monitor loan volumes and provide data for pipeline reports.

• Complete Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) and other legal filings promptly.

• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of government guaranty programs and procedures.

• Adhere to and comply with all state and federal regulations, as well as bank policies and procedures, including but not limited to the Bank Secrecy Act, FACT Act, Community Reinvestment Act, and EEO/AA/Fair Employment Practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent work experience.

• At least 3 years of experience in a financial institution.

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Commercial SBA loan closing.

• Extensive knowledge of loan products, functions, documentation, policies, and procedures as required by bank policy and state and federal regulations.

• Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities in fast-paced environments.

• High attention to detail with the capability to assess issues and offer effective solutions.

• Maintain a high level of confidentiality and discretion.

• Proficient in MS Office Suite and departmental software.
