This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.
• Conducting prospecting activities and developing a pipeline for enterprise accounts within ANZ, engaging with stakeholders at the VP level and above through sharp, targeted outreach that facilitates meaningful discussions.
• Overseeing a portfolio of 30 - 50 existing clients; managing renewals, identifying upsell prospects, and promoting deeper product utilization to optimize retention and revenue growth.
• Collaborating with Enterprise Account Executives to assess and advance opportunities - serving as the link between outbound prospecting efforts and the execution of enterprise deals.
• Facilitating customer Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and handling commercial escalations - nurturing trusted relationships with your accounts and ensuring clients derive genuine value from Matillion.
• Maintaining an organized and up-to-date Salesforce; diligently tracking pipeline, activities, and customer health in accordance with the standards of effective commercial execution.
• Demonstrated experience in a Sales Development position within a SaaS context, with a history of successfully prospecting enterprise accounts at the VP level and higher - you know how to create opportunities and sustain them.
• Experience in managing customer relationships from a commercial perspective; handling renewals, upsells, or account management - you recognize the importance of retaining customers as much as acquiring new ones.
• Familiarity with data, analytics, cloud, or data integration technologies (such as Snowflake, Databricks, AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus) or a genuine eagerness to quickly develop this knowledge.
• A proactive attitude combined with confidence tempered by humility - you act without waiting for ideal conditions and present yourself assertively in front of senior stakeholders without being overbearing.
