This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Take ownership of and manage the complete proposal process for NAM opportunities, from initial intake to final submission.
• Collaborate with Sales, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and Delivery teams to outline the scope, confirm feasibility, and create RFQs, RFPs, quotations, and Statements of Work.
• Organize proposal contributions, including methodology, assumptions, pricing support, and necessary documentation.
• Oversee timelines, dependencies, risks, and internal review cycles to guarantee timely, accurate, and high-caliber submissions.
• Keep precise records of opportunity, proposal, and project data within CRM and other relevant systems.
• Ensure document control, version management, and audit-ready records across proposal repositories and workflow tools.
• Monitor proposal activities, deadlines, approvals, and critical status updates.
• Update and enhance proposal templates, content libraries, boilerplate language, and standard phrases.
• Utilize AI and other technologies to optimize the proposal development process.
• Assist with win/loss evaluations and integrate lessons learned into future submissions.
• Facilitate the adoption of proposal tools, standard procedures, and best practices.
• Contribute to additional commercial, operational, and business priorities as required.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Power Systems), Business, or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience in proposals, tendering, project coordination, or commercial operations.
• Proven experience in supporting RFQs, RFPs, Statements of Work, and pricing structures.
• Capability to convert technical concepts into clear, concise business language.
• Proficient with CRM, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience in managing stakeholders across Sales, Engineering, and Delivery teams.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality.
• High level of ownership and the ability to function effectively in ambiguous, fast-paced settings.
• Capacity to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Effective collaboration within a matrixed, cross-functional organization.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Experience in developing techno-commercial proposals for consulting firms, especially in the power sector, is preferred.
• Background in energy, engineering, industrial, consulting, or technical services environments is preferred.
• Lean or continuous improvement experience is a plus.
• Interest in exploring and utilizing AI tools to enhance proposal quality, consistency, and turnaround time.
