Commercial Operations Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Algeria.

📋 Description

• Review and modify customer terms and conditions (T&Cs) along with other commercial and contractual documents.

• Ensure that GE maintains an acceptable risk profile in relation to the specific scope of supply and deal dynamics.

• Lead and finalize contractual frameworks and industrial models while engaging with all relevant stakeholders (Tax, Legal, Commercial Finance, Controllers, Operations, EHS).

• Accurately identify and register risks in the Risk Assessment Matrix tool and Salesforce Tool.

• Organize and facilitate Risk Review sessions to promote early engagement, strategy formulation, and necessary approvals, ensuring alignment with leadership.

• Oversee the ComOps and related risk processes, including the utilization of tools and governance frameworks, to ensure consistent operations in ITO.

• Draft, discuss, and negotiate NDAs, Consortium Agreements, and declaration forms with potential partners.

• Cultivate commercial expertise within regional Commercial and Sales teams to guarantee adherence to Grid risk policies and standardized best practices.

• Provide support to ITO teams by applying KPIs, challenging risk and opportunity assessments, and proposing mitigation strategies (e.g., through trend analysis, proposal post-mortems, and customer feedback).

• Collaborate with regional Sales teams in strategy development to create successful proposals that meet or exceed the region’s order and financial KPI targets.

• Assist in reviewing project terms and conditions from inquiry through to bid award.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Legal, Engineering, or a related field from an accredited university or college.

• At least 5 years of experience in Commercial Operations, Contract Management, Sales, Risk Mitigation, Tendering, Bid Management, and/or Project Management roles.

• Strong skills in contract negotiation and management.

• Proficiency in English, French, and Arabic.
