This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +3 more states.
• Responsibilities related to acquiring new business, including applications, quotes, direct quotes, cross-selling, account rounding, upselling, and bookrolls.
• Account Management tasks that encompass renewal underwriting, endorsement processing, certificates of insurance, and necessary account support.
• Act as the primary liaison with agents at the Service Center, managing daily servicing, renewals, and new business activities.
• Oversee account management directly with customers and agents, which includes New Business quoting, direct quoting, and Renewal Underwriting.
• Address inquiries regarding product availability, discounts, billing and payment options, policy status, complaints, and other questions from customers and agents in a timely manner.
• Provide exceptional customer service by responding to inquiries, concerns, emails, and faxes within 24 hours, and returning phone calls on the same day.
• Efficiently manage incoming calls and/or emails from existing customers and agents, and may perform outbound calls and follow-up work as required.
• Supply accurate policy information to policyholders and agents concerning commercial lines insurance products.
• Build and sustain relationships with agents, customers, and team members.
• Keep current with service techniques, underwriting guidelines, and product offerings.
• Conduct research on underwriting information and request the necessary underwriting support documentation for each account.
• A Bachelor's Degree OR an Associate’s Degree coupled with two (2) or more years of experience in customer service, agency, and/or underwriting at a company or agency level.
• A High School Diploma accompanied by four (4) years of experience in customer service, agency, and/or underwriting at a company or agency level.
• A Property and Casualty Agent’s License is highly preferred.
• A minimum of two (2) to four (4) years of experience in customer service, agency, and/or underwriting at a company or agency level.
• Experience in the commercial lines sector of insurance is preferred.
• Basic understanding of property/casualty insurance products, processing systems/procedures, best practices, state regulations, and customer service practices.
• Evidence of self-development through the attainment of professional insurance designations such as CIC, CISR, CLCS, etc.
