This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Receive incoming calls from agencies and clients, delivering bilingual (English/Spanish) assistance for all inquiries related to commercial trucking insurance.
• Promote and sell commercial lines trucking insurance by identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities tailored to customer and agency needs.
• Assess and underwrite applications for commercial trucking insurance, including renewals, endorsements, and policy modifications, ensuring adherence to underwriting guidelines.
• Analyze risk, establish eligibility, set coverage levels and pricing within authorization limits, and make prompt, clear underwriting decisions.
• Assist the sales process for agency partners, encompassing quotes, coverage discussions, and follow-up on documentation.
• Address inquiries and requests regarding eligibility, underwriting processes, endorsements, policy amendments, renewals, and cancellations.
• Deliver outstanding customer service during each call, ensuring a professional and knowledgeable interaction.
• Precisely record all interactions, decisions, and transactions in the agency management system and CRM tools.
• Resolve customer and agency inquiries at the first point of contact whenever possible, escalating more complex issues as needed.
• Work collaboratively with underwriting, operations, and internal teams to address issues and manage policies.
• Execute related administrative tasks to facilitate seamless agency and policy operations.
• Current 220 Insurance License (mandatory).
• Must be a resident of Florida (mandatory).
• Proven success in a customer-facing role that involves answering calls, providing insurance assistance, and engaging in sales activities.
• At least 2 years of experience working as a commercial trucking underwriter or in a similar underwriting support role.
• Knowledgeable in commercial auto/trucking insurance products, coverage options, and underwriting standards.
• Familiarity with agency management systems (AMS), CRM software, and the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; capable of articulating insurance concepts clearly and confidently.
• Detail-focused, organized, and able to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
