This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Support Producers with the placement of new and renewal business.
• Prepare and dispatch Future ACORD applications to the market for renewal indications, following AE/Producer instructions.
• Assist in the marketing efforts for New Business.
• Provide direct customer service assistance for commercial lines clients.
• Issue necessary documentation, such as certificates of insurance and auto insurance ID cards.
• Draft or help in drafting highly technical or sensitive correspondence.
• Capable of translating complex technical information for client comprehension.
• Compile applications, negotiate with underwriters, and prepare proposals for new and renewal business offerings.
• Reach out to clients and/or underwriters to gather additional information or address inquiries.
• Resolve policy and coverage-related issues for clients, insurance carriers, and Producers.
• Skilled at communicating unfavorable actions to clients while proposing solutions to address the situation.
• Bind or place coverage with suitable carriers in accordance with their binding authority.
• Stay informed about the company’s insurance products and offerings.
• Be aware of market developments, including product line offerings and evolving insurance consumer trends and needs when advising clients.
• Establish and maintain electronic file information in the Agency Management System, including data entry and upkeep of client and policy databases.
• Valid Washington State Insurance License and relevant Non-Resident Licenses.
• Professional designations such as ACSR, CIC, CPCU, or CISR (Preferred).
• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
• 3-5 years of recent experience in an agency setting, managing the service of a multi-line commercial lines book of business as a generalist.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, & Outlook).
• Familiarity with carrier websites (Preferred).
• Experience with AMS360 and Image Right (Preferred).
