This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Oversee the loan process from initiation to closing.
• Ensure the accuracy and completeness of documentation, addressing any exceptions.
• Enter financial data into the loan system and refresh financial statements.
• Prepare documentation for portfolio evaluation.
• Maintain lists of prospects and generate reports on maturing loans and lines of credit.
• Track overdue accounts and ensure effective communication and follow-up.
• Provide support for sales and identify opportunities for sales and cross-selling.
• Organize presentation materials and assist in scheduling sales meetings.
• Manage daily routine operations, respond to ad-hoc requests, and oversee CRM management.
• Keep the lender organized and ensure requests and requirements are completed promptly.
• Coordinate with branch and deposit operations partners for opening deposits and other banking services.
• Foster internal relationships for efficient turnaround times.
• Act as the primary point of contact for borrowers, addressing inquiries and issues.
• Assist the lender with administrative duties, reporting, and HR-related tasks.
• Uphold commitments to environmental, social, economic, and racial justice.
• Complete required compliance and IT training while adhering to bank policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Report any suspicious activities and collaborate to prevent fraud.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance or equivalent education and formal training, coupled with strong accounting and math skills is highly desirable.
• Previous experience assisting commercial bankers.
• Strong accounting and mathematical abilities.
• Comprehensive understanding of banking and commercial lending practices.
• Familiarity with relevant regulatory requirements and compliance standards.
• Capability to quickly learn new tools and utilize technology for enhanced efficiency.
• Valid U.S. work authorization; visa sponsorship is not available.
• Must declare as a non-smoker or commit to cessation within 90 days of accepting the offer.
• Willingness to occasionally work evenings and weekends as necessary.
• Completion of cognitive and personality assessments.
• Credit and background checks required prior to the final interview.
• Provision of references from former mentors and supervisors.
• Ability to stand and sit for extended periods, communicate frequently, use a PC, type, maintain sustained attention to the monitor, and occasionally lift up to 20 lbs.
