Commercial Legal Counsel, Fluent Ukrainian and English

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Negotiate, draft, and review various commercial agreements, such as Master Service Agreements (MSAs), Statements of Work (SOWs), Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), buyout agreements, assignment agreements, and additional client-related contracts;

• Evaluate suppliers and vendors, perform legal due diligence, and oversee agreements with suppliers to ensure alignment with company standards and business goals;

• Manage intellectual property (IP) concerns, including copyright issues and general IP safeguarding;

• Offer legal counsel and support to internal teams (HR, IT, Marketing, Finance) on matters related to contracts, commerce, and compliance;

• Keep abreast of changes in international legislation that may impact the business and suggest updates to internal policies, templates, and contractual structures.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master’s degree in law

• Proficiency in English and Ukrainian, including the ability to draft legal documents

• Over 2 years of professional legal experience in commercial, corporate, or technology law

• Basic understanding of data protection and privacy regulations, such as GDPR and associated laws

• Demonstrated hands-on experience in negotiating, drafting, and reviewing contracts with clients and suppliers

• Excellent analytical, legal, and research skills with a keen attention to detail

• Goal-oriented, proactive, and adept at thriving in a fast-paced, business-oriented environment.

• Experience with copyright/IP disputes

• Familiarity with U.S. or U.K. contract law

• Previous experience in product or service-oriented IT companies.
