Commercial Lawyer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Arab Emirates (UAE).

📋 Description

• Prepare, examine, and amend a diverse array of commercial agreements, such as vendor contracts, non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), service contracts, and partnership deals.

• Counsel clients on various corporate law matters, including governance, entity structuring, and compliance with regulations.

• Offer legal advice on employment law topics, including employment contracts, workplace policies, and termination processes.

• Assist clients in comprehending the legal and commercial ramifications of contract clauses, considering relevant tax and regulatory aspects.

• Perform legal research concerning corporate, commercial, employment, and tax matters across different jurisdictions.

• Collaborate with client teams to ensure legal precision and alignment with business goals.

• Stay updated on legal advancements in commercial, corporate, and employment law, and relay pertinent updates to clients.

• Engage with external counsel or specialists as needed to deliver jurisdiction-specific guidance.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in Law is mandatory; a focus on Corporate or Commercial Law is a plus.

• 4–5 years of experience in practicing commercial or corporate law, with some exposure to employment law.

• Demonstrated capability to draft and negotiate various commercial and corporate agreements.

• Experience in reviewing and advising on the legal elements of employment-related documents.

• Comfort in engaging with international clients and handling cross-border legal issues.

• Exceptional attention to detail, strong research skills, and a business-minded approach to legal judgment.

• Previous advisory experience with UAE-based or GCC clients is highly desirable.

• Knowledge of tax law implications as they relate to corporate and commercial legal matters is beneficial.
