This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Oversee a designated portfolio of clients, ensuring retention of accounts and fostering new business opportunities.
• Organize daily administrative tasks and customer service efforts, resolving intricate issues while guaranteeing accuracy and thoroughness.
• Maintain expertise in technical aspects and industry knowledge.
• Supervise the daily functions of the account management team.
• Address customer service inquiries, manage policy administration, billing, claims, and coverage assessment.
• Oversee policy expirations and renewals.
• Conduct research on clients, prepare submissions, negotiate coverage options, and present proposals.
• Track reports and take necessary actions on overdue accounts, ensuring collection of outstanding payments.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness in agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms.
• Monitor and uphold activity/suspense to guarantee timely task completion.
• Maintain open and transparent communication with the account team regarding workload status and any arising issues.
• Provide exceptional service, proactively addressing needs and responding swiftly to service requests.
• Stay informed on company policies and procedures.
• Pursue and implement best practices to enhance both individual and team performance.
• Exhibit integrity and leadership qualities.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in account management.
• Comprehensive understanding of insurance brokerage and client requirements.
• Active licensing is required; professional designation (CIC or equivalent) is preferred.
• Strong skills in analysis, problem-solving, and decision-making.
• Outstanding customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational abilities.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• High School Diploma or equivalent qualification.
