• Responsible for managing designated Pace Analytical Services Accounts, achieving financial targets for those accounts, and addressing inbound leads.
• Aims to sustain revenue from current assigned accounts to ensure clients within the maintenance category receive excellent care, thereby minimizing attrition.
• Creates new revenue streams by soliciting and securing orders, interpreting technical requirements, providing technical information, and developing Pace's maintenance and strategic accounts.
• Evaluates and qualifies inbound leads generated from the website and marketing initiatives, potentially securing new business for the organization.
• Develops sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts, acquiring new accounts, building relationships, offering technical information and explanations, and preparing quotes.
• Establishes new accounts and contacts through inbound programs and outbound research efforts.
• Adheres to a comprehensive standard operating procedure to document all customer interactions.
• Enhances job knowledge by reviewing new product descriptions and engaging in educational opportunities.
• Achieves departmental and organizational goals by taking ownership of new and varied requests.
• Seeks out opportunities to enhance job accomplishments.
• Contributes to the department's efficiency and effectiveness in serving customers by providing suggestions and actively participating as a team member.
• Promotes and supports Pace's overall mission by exhibiting courteous and cooperative behavior while interacting with customers and staff, fostering a harmonious and effective workplace environment.
• Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, or a related field.
• Two (2) years of professional experience in environmental services or laboratory operations; OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Intermediate to complex knowledge of sales effectiveness principles, practices, and techniques.
• Familiarity with the administration and oversight of sales programs, policies, and procedures.
• Technical understanding of Pace's products and services.
• Intermediate to complex methods for resolving sales and customer issues, inquiries, and concerns.
• Knowledge of applicable sales laws, codes, and regulations.
• Understanding of various testing tools, equipment, and processing methods.
• Proficiency in computer applications and systems relevant to the role.
• Principles and practices for serving as an effective member of a project team.
• Methods for communicating with staff, colleagues, and customers to ensure safe, effective, and appropriate operations.
• Proficiency in business English, including spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
