Commercial Controller – EMEA

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Oversee customer orders from the receipt of purchase orders (PO) through to order processing, delivery, invoicing, and revenue collection.

• Examine purchase orders and commercial documents for precision and completeness.

• Monitor outstanding orders, deliveries, and anticipated revenue timelines, while following up on pending actions.

• Collaborate with Sales, Finance, Logistics, and Operations to ensure prompt order fulfillment.

• Assist in logistics activities, including coordinating shipments and necessary documentation.

• Ensure accurate maintenance of CRM, order, and commercial data.

• Generate regular reports detailing order intake, backlog, deliveries, and revenue.

• Aid the sales team with daily commercial administration and internal procedures.

• Recognize delays or issues and escalate them to the appropriate team or manager.

• Assist with month-end and quarter-end commercial tasks.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related discipline.

• 0–2 years of pertinent professional experience.

• Excellent organizational abilities and keen attention to detail.

• Strong numerical and analytical skills.

• Effective communication skills and the capability to collaborate with various teams.

• Proficient in using Microsoft Excel and Office applications.

• Professional fluency in English.

• Proactive, dependable, and eager to learn.

• Occasional travel may be necessary.

• Previous internship or work experience in sales administration, finance, logistics, customer service, or commercial operations is preferred.

• Familiarity with CRM or ERP systems is a plus.

• Basic knowledge of order processing, logistics, or invoicing is advantageous.

• Proficiency in German or another European language would be beneficial.
