Wind Farm Controller Commissioning Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Commissioning controller systems for wind farms (CWE and SGCS) along with their communication interfaces.

• Ensuring dependable communication between wind turbines, SCADA systems, substations, and grid operators.

• Configuring and testing communication interfaces such as Modbus TCP, IEC 60870-5-101/-104, OPC UA, and DNP3.

• Preparing for and supporting grid connection as well as grid-code tests through successful acceptance procedures.

• Analyzing faults with tools like Wireshark, identifying root causes, and creating sustainable solutions.

• Collaborating with customers, grid operators, and international project teams.

• Continuously enhancing processes and standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, Automation Engineering, or an equivalent qualification.

• Experience in commissioning control, automation, or SCADA systems.

• Familiarity with industrial communication protocols such as Modbus TCP, IEC 60870-5-101/-104, OPC UA, or DNP3.

• Experience in analyzing and troubleshooting communication and control systems, preferably using tools like Wireshark.

• A structured and solution-oriented work approach.

• Willingness to engage in occasional international business travel.

• Proficiency in both German and English languages.
