This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Chile.
• Manage the intake, triage, and prioritization of commercial legal requests.
• Review, negotiate, and finalize standard commercial agreements, including NDAs, order forms, amendments, and low to moderate risk customer contracts.
• Promote the use of standard templates and playbooks.
• Identify contractual risks and devise solutions that balance business objectives with legal and compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with Sales, Deal Desk, Privacy, Security, Legal, procurement, finance, and business stakeholders across North America and globally.
• Enhance contracting workflows, templates, guidance notes, and self-service tools.
• Escalate complex or non-standard issues to legal counsel while independently resolving routine and moderately complex matters.
• Monitor contract lifecycle metrics, assist with reporting, and contribute to process enhancements.
• Act as the primary point of contact for business stakeholders throughout the contracting process.
• Facilitate contract administration, intake management, approvals, matter tracking, and reporting.
• Assist with regional commercial legal projects, including process improvements, contract remediation, policy rollouts, and cross-functional initiatives.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Law, Legal or Paralegal Studies, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Over 5 years of experience in contract management, commercial contracting, legal operations, procurement, in-house legal support, or a related legal function.
• Advanced proficiency in spoken and written English.
• Proven experience with MSAs, SaaS agreements, SOWs, NDAs, amendments, and RFPs.
• Experience in reviewing, drafting, and negotiating commercial agreements using established templates and playbooks.
• Ability to manage multiple contracts and priorities in a dynamic, cross-functional environment.
• Knowledge of contract law principles, commercial terms, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Familiarity with privacy, information security, and regulatory requirements affecting commercial contracts.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Strong attention to detail and sound judgment, with the ability to appropriately escalate complex legal issues.
• Preferred: experience with CLM systems, document management tools, and Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, and SharePoint.
