This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Act as the main point of contact for inquiries related to contracts, amendments, purchase orders, vendor classification, and invoicing concerns.
• Evaluate business requests to determine eligibility for self-service contract processing or the need for comprehensive contract management.
• Oversee the processing and management of market research and data purchase contracts in compliance with vendor Master Service Agreements, data privacy standards, and acceptable-use policies.
• Handle self-service contract requests and facilitate full-service requests through MyBuy and Navigator.
• Manage the intake of contracts, workflow progression, approvals, execution, amendments, and associated documentation.
• Assist US Market Research and Patient Support Program (MAP) initiatives in accordance with relevant requirements.
• Administer Purchase Orders, including their creation, issuance, tracking, and maintenance.
• Collaborate with Finance to ensure that PO structures adequately support intricate market research and data purchasing agreements, as well as accurate reporting and FACT coding.
• Work with vendors, internal stakeholders, and Accounts Payable to address invoice discrepancies and facilitate timely payments.
• Supervise contract workflows, identify delays or issues, and coordinate resolutions with stakeholders or IT.
• Promote continuous enhancement of contracting processes, templates, and operational practices.
• Create and deliver training and educational sessions for business stakeholders regarding contracting procedures and MyBuy.
• Collaborate with Commercial Contract Specialists and other procurement/contract teams to enhance operational efficiency and standardization.
• Maintain precise contract and procurement records while ensuring compliance with established procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Bachelor's degree with 5–10 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with applicable professional experience.
• Over 5 years of experience in contract management, procurement, contract administration, legal operations, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in managing commercial or vendor contracts and overseeing contract lifecycle processes.
• Solid understanding of Purchase Orders, invoicing, billing, and procurement procedures.
• Demonstrated ability to identify process challenges, resolve contracting/invoicing issues, and ensure timely completion.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel.
• Familiarity with cloud-based systems and collaboration tools such as Google Workspace.
• Experience with market research agreements or data purchase agreements.
• Knowledge of data licensing, digital, or technology contracts.
• Background in healthcare, life sciences, pharmaceuticals, or biotechnology sectors.
• Experience with Master Service Agreements (MSAs) and vendor contracts.
• Familiarity with contract lifecycle management (CLM) or procurement systems.
