Commercial Auto Claims Representative – Property Damage

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assessing and resolving all aspects of both first and third-party auto claims

• Conducting investigations into losses and pinpointing coverage concerns

• Acquiring and reviewing estimates, evidence, reports, and medical documentation

• Managing First Party Damages

• Managing Third Party Damages

• Overseeing Total Loss, Fire, Theft, and Glass Claims

• Assessing injury demands

• Managing claims with and without representation

• Determining damages and establishing reserves

• Processing payments

• Taking recorded statements from insured parties, claimants, and witnesses

• Maintaining claim files in accordance with best practice guidelines

• Acquiring and keeping all necessary state licenses

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree or higher is mandatory

• An active adjuster license is required

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a keen attention to detail

• Proven experience in investigating coverage and drafting coverage letters

• Experience in presenting cases during round table discussions

• Strong organizational and computer proficiency

• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize effectively

• Capability to shift focus quickly as needed

• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

• Self-motivated individual: works independently with minimal to moderate supervision

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in handling property damage claims

• Vehicle damage appraisal experience is preferred

• Experience with Cargo, In-Tow, and Total Loss Claims from initiation to completion

• Demonstrated history of receiving top tier performance ratings

• Willingness to travel for conferences and meetings if necessary
