This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +5 more states.
• Key technical contributor to market and application initiatives.
• Lead and implement a cross-functional team to execute the technical strategy at customer sites, including product launches, complaint resolution, and new application development: (Sales, Key Account Management, Business Development, Product Development, Operations, Lab Technician, etc.)
• Spearhead technically-focused product development and innovation projects for critical portfolio gaps with KPI applications and markets.
• Establish essential technical capability standards and methodologies for markets and applications that are new to Henkel.
• Manage North American sourced projects and guide the relevant global team for cross-regional development and commercialization (e.g., an end-use application designed and tested in the US, but produced in APAC, EU, and South America).
• Collaborate with Product Development and Partner Applications Engineer to oversee and maintain laboratory equipment and ensure adherence to all onsite safety protocols and procedures.
• Serve as the primary expert for operating, training, and maintaining PE lab equipment.
• Achieve AIB and SBU based KSI Targets - NES, GP, ROS.
• Provide direct Application Engineering (AE) support to proactively stimulate growth.
• Identify and fulfill unmet needs at Key Accounts and Regional/Inside Sales accounts in collaboration with Sales.
• Offer direct AE support to capitalize on new opportunities arising from website inquiries, cold calls, etc., by addressing unmet needs and delivering the appropriate level of technical assistance.
• Engage in regular reviews of new development projects in the pipeline, ensuring timely completion of AE workstreams for related customer/market projects, particularly in our key initiatives: Smart Surfaces, Smart Healthcare, Antenna, and Energy Storage.
• Assist Business Development and Marketing efforts to meet financial targets.
• Prioritize supporting, coaching, and training (as necessary) new customer-facing applications team members and SBU resources.
• Build industry relationships and networks (OEMs, Allied Partners, Associations, etc.).
