This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Manages applications, policies, endorsements, binders, certificates, audit requests, and other client servicing items during non-renewal periods.
• Aids clients in understanding policy coverage, exclusions, and related inquiries while supporting Producers in client service.
• Oversees client accounts with guidance from Producers or Account Executives, including research/analysis and addressing client questions on coverage and policy/contractual matters. Performs routine policy adjustments.
• Facilitates the renewal process under the supervision of Producers or Account Executives, conducting exposure analyses for clients (e.g., reviewing census/experience data and contractual insurance requirements), strategizing with Producers/Account Executives and clients on marketing decisions, conducting market comparisons through insurance rate and renewal analysis, obtaining and evaluating quotes, and negotiating premiums and commission rates on behalf of clients with full authority from EPIC, while preparing proposals and ensuring the accuracy of insurance binders.
• Provides assistance to Producers and, where applicable, Account Executives, including preparing presentations and proposals, and participating in meetings with prospective clients as part of the team.
• Maintains client files within appropriate systems, prepares billing, and offers standard office/administrative support.
• Consistently builds and sustains high levels of trust and confidence with clients through introductions, regular communication, and prompt resolution of client queries and issues.
• Processes all applications, policies, endorsements, incoming correspondence, binders, schedules, certificates, audits, and related items concerning client policies promptly and accurately.
• Educates clients about policy coverage, amendments, exclusions, and their insurance coverage requirements.
• Assists clients in making coverage modifications.
• Responsible for accurate and timely invoicing and monthly expirations.
• Meets all quality and timeliness standards within the Agency Management System while thoroughly documenting all activities.

• Collaborates with the Sales Team to determine strategies including coverage decisions, target pricing, and marketing plans.
• Submits applications with the necessary supporting documentation and follows up to ensure timely receipt of quotes and policies.
• Engages in aggressive and professional negotiations of premiums and commissions with underwriters and wholesalers.
• Prepares proposals and provides other technical support in the sales process as required.
• Works with the Sales Team to refer current and prospective clients to E.P.I.C.’s Employee Benefits and Private Client Departments for solicitation in those business lines.

• Prioritizes and manages personal workflow to ensure efficient, timely, and accurate processing of all tasks.
• Maintains cordial and effective relationships with clients, colleagues, carriers, wholesalers, vendors, and other business contacts.
• Keeps documentation such as proposals, workflow logs, manuals, or other required records up-to-date.
• Interacts with others effectively using strong communication skills, cooperating purposefully, and providing information and guidance as necessary to achieve the company's business objectives.
• Stays informed about industry updates, new product/program developments, coverage options, legislation, and technology to continuously enhance knowledge and performance.

• Demonstrates the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple competing tasks and demands.
• Possesses complete knowledge of Property Casualty coverage lines and services.
• Identifies problems and responds appropriately.
• Capable of analyzing situations logically to draw sound conclusions.
• Demonstrates experience with Agency Management Systems, rating processes, coverages, and industry operations to effectively manage, maintain, and service assigned clients and prospects.
• Proficient in navigating the Internet and various Microsoft Office applications including Windows, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Exhibits strong attention to detail and effective time management skills.
• Demonstrates strong multi-tasking abilities and prioritization skills.
• Capable of working effectively both independently and in a team setting.
• Possesses strong interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal.
• A high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is required; a college degree is preferred.
• Two or more years of experience in a mid-size brokerage or insurance carrier is necessary.
• Must possess working knowledge of various Microsoft Office software applications, including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and presentation software.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated skill in managing multiple competing tasks and demands.
• High level of interpersonal skills is required to handle sensitive and confidential situations. The position requires teamwork and demonstrates poise, tact, and diplomacy.
• Fire and Casualty Broker License is required.
