This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Greece.
• Report to a Regional Sales Director and manage a diverse portfolio, encompassing both new prospects and the expansion of existing accounts.
• Oversee the complete sales cycle for potential clients, from initial discovery and aligning solutions to negotiation and closure.
• Advocate for GitLab with prospects by effectively communicating our DevSecOps value proposition and aligning it with customer business objectives.
• Evaluate successes and failures, participate in root cause analyses, and share insights with account managers, marketing, and technical teams.
• Document and sustain precise buying criteria, processes, next steps, and ownership to guarantee a dependable, evidence-based pipeline.
• Contribute to enhancing our sales handbook and processes by recording best practices and identifying areas for improvement.
• Provide leadership and guidance for accounts across pre- and post-sales, collaborating closely with technical teams and customer success.
• Act as the voice of the customer by providing product feedback and suggestions to our public issue tracker.
• Demonstrated success in software sales, preferably within a Commercial market environment, managing a diverse portfolio.
• Capability to guide customers through the entire buying journey, which includes defining buying criteria, mapping processes, and facilitating clear next steps.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with business development, marketing, technical teams, and sales management.
• Experience in documenting and maintaining accurate pipeline data and account plans grounded in evidence rather than assumptions.
• Proficiency in conducting and contributing to win/loss analyses and root cause evaluations, while sharing insights to enhance team performance and processes.
• Skilled in negotiation, presenting to customer stakeholders, and leading commercial discussions to successfully close opportunities.
• Interest in GitLab, open source software, and preferably familiarity with Git, software development tools, or application lifecycle management.
• Alignment with GitLab’s values and a desire to contribute from diverse or transferable sales backgrounds, with a willingness to travel per company policy.
• Fluent in Hebrew (required).
