This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Create, oversee, and advance a qualified sales pipeline that includes opportunities you source directly as well as those supported through OEM and channel partners.
• Navigate complex customer organizations by identifying key stakeholders, fostering relationships, and engaging with senior decision-makers.
• Facilitate and lead customer interactions through discovery, evaluation, proposal crafting, and solution alignment, with assistance from Sales Engineers and leadership.
• Craft and present clear, value-driven proposals that connect Cohesity’s platform to customer security, resilience, and data insight utilization.
• Maintain precise opportunity tracking and forecasting, contributing to consistent quarterly performance.
• Provide customer insights and competitive feedback to broader sales and product teams to promote continuous improvement.
• Proven experience selling to German commercial accounts across a diverse partner ecosystem.
• Execute a territory strategy aimed at acquiring new logos and expanding accounts within a specified set of commercial clients.
• Demonstrated experience in selling to and collaborating with Information Security/Cybersecurity and Data Management teams, along with a solid grasp of enterprise security frameworks and compliance standards, enabling alignment of solutions with customer security and risk needs.
• A customer-centric mindset coupled with a strong interest in cybersecurity and data protection, particularly regarding ransomware and recovery.
• Established track record in selling enterprise technology solutions, preferably within infrastructure, SaaS, or related markets.
• Evidence of success in acquiring new customers and expanding existing accounts.
• Basic understanding of data security and backup technologies, with a readiness to enhance technical expertise.
• Familiarity with Cohesity solutions (DataProtect, DataHawk, SmartFiles) is a plus.
• Experience with platforms such as NetBackup, Dataprotect, or InfoScale is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Comfort in collaborating with channel partners, with an interest in developing co-selling capabilities.
• Strong communication skills, with the capability to present effectively to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Proven experience utilizing AI tools to enhance productivity, organization, and sales effectiveness.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Proficient in English for customer and internal communications.
